Last week I took my boyfriend to Disneyland Paris for his birthday! We had the most magical time EVER! From the parade, to the rides, to the INSANE light/firework show, this really was a holiday to remember!
I booked my hotel and tickets through the Disneyland Paris website. We stayed at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Hotel which I would defo recommend if you are thinking of staying on site. It is literally a 5 minute walk to Disney Village and is located by the lake which is super relaxing and pretty. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel! We stayed in the main hotel (as there are also lodges either side of the main building). It has a woodland theme with Bambi and friends subtly decorating the room. The “lodge” style made me feel as though I was in a cosy retreat in a woodland forest or in the mountains somewhere! A highlight of the hotel was the bar (and not just because of the mulled wine!). With a huge log fire, it was a a perfect cosy setting to relax after a day at the parks (at -5 temperatures!). Breakfast was also included (continental buffet) as were extra park hours. The hotel also has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a jacuzzi and sauna, a gym and a restaurant.
As you walk down “Main Street USA” towards Sleeping Beauty’s Castle (which I had an obsession with!) you know you are somewhere magical! You can explore the different “lands” and the attractions within them. One of my highlights was the newer Ratatouille ride which everyone can enjoy! You can also meet the characters including Mickey Mouse and the Princesses and take home souvenir pictures. The parade and the breathtaking light and firework show really make you feel the Disney magic!

Here you can find some of the more thrill seeking rides and a behind the scenes look at The Disney and Disney Pixar films. The Moteurs… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular is DEFO worth going to see! Inspired by the film Cars, you watch amazing stunts and find out how they are done! Season of the Force is on until late March, where you can see the Star Wars characters in various shows on stage.
I hope you enjoyed this post, and I can’t wait to share more of my adventures and travels this year!
